14 national registers of wills and 5 registers of European Certificates of Succession (ECS) form part of the European Network of Registers of Wills (RERT). The expansion of the RERT has been greatly facilitated by financial support from the European Union, which has helped registries in several Member States to connect to a platform enabling the exchange of information between national registers of wills and ECS.
