ARERT is 20 years old today

On 8 July 2005, Me Tobback, Belgium notary, filed the statutes of the non-profit association ARERT in Brussels. This visionary project, initiated by three European notariats (Belgium, France and Slovenia), now brings together 21 Chambers of notaries and interconnects 13 registers of wills and 5 registers of European certificates of succession. The European network of registers (RERT) is growing every year, and ARERT is effectively pursuing its mission to strengthen legal certainty for citizens and promote cooperation in succession matters in Europe.
