ARERT is delighted to welcome the Chamber of Notaries of Ukraine (CNU) as a member. This new collaboration should facilitate access for the Ukrainian notaries to the registers of wills interconnected with the RERT. This initiative responds to a growing need, linked to the increase in the number of Ukrainian nationals in various Member States since the start of the war in Ukraine. ARERT thus reaffirms its commitment to actively supporting the Ukrainian notarial profession in these difficult times.
And we have already taken the first steps towards a fruitful collaboration with the holding of a videoconference on 21 April 2026. President Rogojanu, along with several members of the ARERT and ADSN teams, were able to present the functioning of the European Network of last wills registers (RERT) to President Marchenko and several representatives of the CNU. We therefore hope to swiftly begin preparatory work for the CNU’s accession to the network of European last wills register.
