On 5 June 2026, the ARERT General Assembly elected its new Steering Committee. We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Cosita Delvaux, a Luxembourg notary, as President of ARERT, alongside Mrs Anne Wuilquot (Belgium), Mrs Céline Deschamps (France), Mr Tamás Korbuly (Hungary) and Mr Gianfilippo Laurini (Italy)

ARERT active participation in EU debates on the evolution of the succession regulation, in Brussels.

Le 3 juillet 2025, la Chambre nationale des notaires d’Albanie est devenu le 22ème membre de l’ARERT. Ce notariat est déjà membre observateur du CNUE.

EU-funded project revisits the digitisation of European Certificates of Succession (ECS)

On 8 July 2005, Me Tobback, Belgium notary, filed the statutes of the non-profit association ARERT in Brussels. This visionary project, initiated by three European notariats (Belgium, France and Slovenia), now brings together 21 Chambers of notaries and interconnects 13 registers of wills and 5 registers of European certificates of succession. The European network of registers (RERT) is growing every year, and ARERT is effectively pursuing its mission to strengthen legal certainty for citizens and promote cooperation in succession matters in Europe.

The Italian register of European Certificates of Succession (ECS) joined the RERT on 12 June 2025.
